OUR STORY

Our name drives our story.

The word "Dynargie" is merged from two words which should epitomize the successful relationship between a leader and the people who work in his/her team: the "dynamism" that the manager should demonstrate, and the "energy" of the people whom he or she leads. In other words, we as managers should use our dynamism to get things done and reach our objectives, while optimizing all the energy and talent that we have inside our organisation to contribute to the team`s success.

Therefore, Dynargie represents a way of leading and of behaving within an organisation.

Upon creating Dynargie, our two founders, Philippe Graff and Gilbert Serfaty, challenged a leadership mindset based at the time on the idea that being a manager meant being directive, that people had only to listen to and follow their manager. It was time to provide managers with alternatives such as involving their direct reports, asking them questions such as “What do you propose?”. Listening to others would result in an ability to bring in different perspectives and ideas. There was still a challenge: managers were expecting practical tools to use what we call "Dynargetic Management". Therefore, since the beginning, we have concentrated our approach not on the “what?” but on the “how?”. For instance, we never explain what empowerment is. We train on “how” to conduct a meeting, if the objective is to empower someone.

Today, we are spread across three continents and we aim at being a large network of expert "boutique" offices, able to deliver all kind of soft skills projects (training and coaching, as well as consultancy and facilitation). We work every day to ensure that whatever the location, the country, the type of organisation or of industry, we deliver the same level of quality and consistency, with the same value perceived at clients’ level.
